STACEY FRANCOIS, OWNER + FOUNDER
My family moved to Austin in 1976 and I have been a loyal resident of this vibrant, expanding city ever since. I studied Business and Economics at the University of Texas and subsequently decided to pursue my passion in the medical esthetics industry. I obtained my Professional Laser Technician’s license in 2011 and continued my training under two influential Physicians, gaining specific knowledge in the science of anti-aging, body composition, and skin.
As a teenager and through early adulthood, I always struggled with my skin. I have seen countless doctors, specialists and dermatologists that have prescribed an overflowing shoebox of medications and treatments over the years. After decades of failed attempts, I decided that Austin was in need of a place that offered a more personalized approach for these services.
Your skin is your body’s largest organ. It is the first thing people see when they meet you and if you are not comfortable in your own skin, then your confidence suffers as a consequence. Our self-confidence molds us and our heritage or age can be undesirable components that help shape that mold. Age is inevitable and our skin is a constant reminder that change is as well. Our bodies and our skin often undergo very personal, unwelcome changes through the years and we all need someone to listen and help us through that intimate process. Our facility offers customized planning for our clients through a variety of skin and body services. Our personalized approach includes a full esthetic assessment and ongoing evaluations by our highly skilled and accredited staff members. Our medical spa truly cares about the success and outcome of our patient’s treatments and the overall experience that we provide.
The day we opened our doors I knew we were going to provide a very unique service in this town. Our Med Spa is a boutique style facility in the heart of Westlake that emphasizes non-invasive treatment programs for anti-aging, specialized skin services, and weight loss. Our approach to medical esthetic solutions offers our clientele a more natural and youthful outcome that radiates your physical beauty.
BETH JARRETT, SPA DIRECTOR
My official title is Spa Director, but what I really do is a little bit of everything! I am the girl behind the Monday emails, the events, the Weekly and Monthly Specials, the online store, the website, the blogs, Instagram and Facebook, etc! My job was created to be a very diverse role, and I absolutely love that about it! I also get to interact with all our reps from the skin care, laser, and injectable product companies. I used to say I was like the Wolf from Pulp Fiction: if you need something taken care of, I’ll get it done!
My schooling and previous occupations have been diverse, as my life shifted a lot throughout my 20s to 40s. I have an undergraduate degree from UT Austin in US Southern History and African-American Studies, and a Master's Degree in Counseling.
I came to Body Tonic 6 years ago when Body Tonic began to have fast growth, and more attention was needed for marketing and management. I have never loved a job this much, nor have I ever been so blessed as to work with such a tight-knit, talented group of ladies.

GINA JONES, COSMETIC NURSE
I joined Body Tonic in October of 2014, and bring to the practice over 15 years nursing experience. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse and before joining Body Tonic, I worked with a plastic surgery group in Austin for over ten years. My experience working with reputable physicians who offer the highest caliber of care truly molded me into the professional I am today.
Throughout my nursing career I have expanded my skill set on many different levels, with special focus in the aesthetics industry. My experience and knowledge encompasses the whole realm of cosmetic surgery, as well as all aspects of medical aesthetics including IPLs, laser skin resurfacing, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and all dermal fillers.
I love continuing to evolve in my industry, and constantly add to my knowledge by keeping up with the newest uses for neuromodulators (Like Botox), dermal fillers, and the latest advanced injection techniques. This, coupled with my artistic eye, helps me give each client the optimal results they envision. I offer thorough consultations during which I will assess, listen to your individual needs, and provide you with knowledge and education about the treatments you receive.
As a nursing professional, I’ve come to understand my true passion for skin and being an injection specialist. Transitioning from a plastic surgery practice to a medical spa practice made perfect sense for me to further my career and focus on being an aesthetic injector. My previous experience not only refined me, but enhanced my ability to conduct comprehensive consultations to give each client a feeling of comfort, and to gain an understanding of their aesthetic needs. I look forward to creating lasting rapports with my clients while offering exceptional treatments and care! Read a blog about Gina!
LESLIE SAZON, PERMANENT MAKEUP ARTIST, CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN
Leslie Sazon, who recently was awarded Austin Chronicle's Best Of 2016: Critic's Choice for Microblading, has been with Body Tonic for over three years. In her own words, this is how she came to the aesthetics world:
Living with psoriasis since I was 12 years old put me on an inevitable path toward the field of skincare as an adult. As an aesthetician of almost 10 years, I feel that my utmost responsibility is to educate our clients about how to achieve and maintain their skincare goals.
After spending five years in the spa industry, I felt it was time to take my career in a different direction, and that is when I came to Body Tonic. Now, through continued education and training, I specialize in permanent makeup, laser hair removal, laser skin treatments, sclerotherapy, neuromodulators, assisted diet plans, and physician-dispensed skincare lines.
Each individual is different, so having an ear for what each client really wants, and an eye to get them there, is a skill that I have achieved over the years. For an individual to have total trust in their aesthetician is key in helping them move forward toward not only a better understanding of skincare, but of what steps they can take to achieve the skin they want.
As an aesthetician, I enjoy helping people change their lives through thoughtful consultations and educational conversations as we work toward their skin care needs and cosmetic goals.
KIT KIVELL, PROFESSIONAL LASER TECHNICIAN
MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN + SKIN SPECIALIST
After 15 years in the hospitality industry planning events and loving every minute of it, I decided to start my next chapter in life. My passion for skin care and correcting my own sun damage from the 80s and 90s was always a major concern. I have always been obsessed with skin care since I was a little girl, so logically my next step was to return to school and see what I could learn.
I went to National Laser Institute where I was taught by some of the field's leading medical aestheticians. I learned advanced laser treatments, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, fractional laser treatments, IPL and much more. Once I began my training I knew that I had made the right decision to join this fabulous world.
After I was certified and licensed, I joined Body Tonic and felt like I had found the missing piece of my puzzle. Every day I learn something new from each of the talented women I work with, and can’t say enough about our AMAZING clients. Continuing education is important to me and I have completed additional certifications for treatments such as dermaplaning, body contouring with Vanquish, medical aesthetics and recently completed a comprehensive Skin Ceuticals professional skin care training, as well as my Professional Laser Certification.
My main goal was and always has been to make sure every person I come in to contact with leaves feeling amazing….Its a great feeling to love what you do each day!
Having been a Body Tonic client first, I can speak to the professionalism, friendliness and expertise of everyone at Body Tonic Med Spa and now I have the pleasure of working with a fabulous group of people and I get to meet the most fabulous clients everyday! Previously, I was a client at another spa in Austin and after finding Body Tonic I knew I would never go anywhere else. I was amazed at the difference in care, attention to detail, follow up and service that is given at Body Tonic compared to my experience elsewhere!
A little about me: I lived in Argentina as a teen, and studying in Central America gave me the opportunity to learn Spanish, and in turn teach English to business professionals and students in Mexico. My love for the Latin Culture translates into me attempting to cook some of my favorites at home from Oaxaca Mole to Argentinian empanadas; recruiting friends and family to help is part of the fun!
Recently, my husband and I have become empty nesters, and although we love our 4 amazing kids, we also love this new phase of our lives! When I am not at work, I am at home with my chocolate labs, teaching Barre3, or at one of my favorite restaurants in Austin!
