Dermal Fillers are used to restore volume and fullness to the skin, giving a healthy, youthful appearance.

Dermal Fillers at Body Tonic

Dermal Fillers are safe and natural products that restore volume and fullness to the face to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. Dermal fillers are used to restore volume and fullness to the skin, giving a healthy, youthful appearance. All injections are non-surgical and tailored to each patient’s needs and desired results.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are one of the most popular as they have a soft texture to create beautiful results. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. Since HA is naturally occurring in your body, it dissolves naturally and gradually over time, generally between 6 to 12 months depending on the individual and the product used.

JUVEDERM

Juvéderm is composed from a modified form of hyaluronic acid (HA), manufactured using proprietary HYLACROSS™ technology.

The Juvéderm line by Allergan is one of the most well-known of the HA fillers.

  • Juvéderm Ultra XC: This filler is a great choice for the cheekbones, chin, nasolabial folds, lips, and jawline. Results typically can last up to 9 months.

  • Juvéderm Volbella XC: This filler is another great choice for lips and lip lines. It is soft and natural-looking and, most importantly, in feeling. Results last up to 12 months.

  • Juvéderm Vollure XC: This product is recommended for the jawline and nasolabial folds. It is used for correcting moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. Results last up to 18 months.

  • Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC: This filler has a thicker consistency and is used in areas that have deeper wrinkles or in the nasolabial folds.

  • Juvéderm Voluma® XC: Used for contouring and filling out cheeks, hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal filler approved by the FDA to instantly increase facial volume. Results last up to 2 years.

RESTYLANE

Restylane is another HA filler manufactured by Galderma and their lineup of products is also made to address a wide range of concerns.

  • Restylane: is ideal for the eye area and tear troughs.

  • Restylane Defyne: This product is great for enhancing your jawline.

  • Restylane Refyne: This filler is made to help soften and minimize laugh lines, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines.

  • Restylane Lyft: This is a great product to give the cheekbones a nice lift because of its high G-Prime and particle size.

  • Restylane Silk: This product is administered with an ultra-fine needle and is FDA approved for the lips to smooth those stubborn wrinkles around the mouth.

  • Restylane Kysse: This product is also made to enhance the lips and has lidocaine to ease the injection pain. It lasts up to one year.

  • Restylane Contour: This filler is used for cheekbones and to give more lift and definition to the contours of the midface.

REVANESSE

Revanesse is another FDA-approved dermal HA filler product line brand that Body Tonic Medical Spa carries.

  • Revanesse® Versa™ is an FDA approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can be used to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds.

  • Revanesse® Lips™ is an FDA approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can be used for submucosal implantation for lip augmentation.

Like HA fillers, Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is also found naturally in our bodies as this is found mostly in our bones. The microscopic calcium particles are in the filler, and this makes this product thicker than an HA filler. It also lasts longer than HA fillers as it can give results up to one year.

RADIESSE

Radiesse: by Merz Aesthetics is an FDA-approved CaHA filler. This product is used to smooth and minimize nasolabial folds and improve the contours of the jawline. It is also FDA-approved to use in the hands, to increase volume and minimize the look of veins and tendons.

SCULPTRA

Sculptra is a unique facial injectable that is unlike the hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that are commonly used to correct facial volume loss. Sculptra is not a filler, it is a bio-stimulator, made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which is biodegradable and biocompatible, and has been used in other medical forms, such as dissolvable stitches.  PLLA is basically a synthetic form of lactic acid, which is made in our muscles after exercise. Once injected, the PLLA interacts with your own collagen, resulting in increased collagen growth. Sculptra is the only volumizer specifically designed to stimulate your natural collagen production, and clinical studies have shown it can last at least 2 years.

We also offer body treatments with Sculptra Butt Lift, and enhancements to the knees, décolletage, and arms.

Correction with Sculptra takes place in a series of treatments. On average, three injection sessions are needed over a period of several months. The number of injection sessions and the number of injections per session vary from person to person.

BELOTERO BALANCE

Belotero Balance: This product by Merz Aesthetics is an FDA approved HA dermal filler used to smooth nasolabial folds. It lasts up to 6 months to 1 year.
