FOREVER YOUNG BBL is not just for women and men who have experienced sun damage over the course of their life. It also has PREJUVENATION™ benefits keeping young skin looking young.
BBL is for treating skin conditions associated with aging, active lifestyles and sun damage. It is similar to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), but is a newer technology that also treats a wider range of skin types, allows for greater customization, and allows for more issues to be treated during one treatment. Your treatment is tailored to match your skin type and desired results. Popular treatment areas are: face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders. We offer standard BBL photofacials, as well as Forever Young BBL and Forever Clear BBL.
The light energy delivered by BBL gently heats the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to regenerate new collagen, leading to increased skin firmness. This process will restore your skin to its natural beauty, giving you smoother skin with more even tone.
How does BBL feel?
The treatment can feel like a rubber band snap as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. The procedure is noninvasive and topical anesthetic will be applied beforehand.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient, depending on your baseline and your desired results, but generally several sessions will be needed for optimal results.

FOREVER YOUNG BBL
The Forever Young BBL will treat the same conditions as the regular BBL treatment, but involves a slightly longer session where your skin receives additional collagen stimulation that has been scientifically proven to stop further skin aging, down to the genetic level.
A study at Stanford University found that, in studying BBL treatments on the Sciton JOULE: "regulators of aging can be altered in human skin using BBL technology to provide a functional change, rather than just a cosmetic mimic of youthful appearance. BBL treatments promote the appearance of youthful skin. This study reveals that the appearance of younger skin may be due to the differences observed in gene expression patterns of aged skin becoming more like young skin."
In short, it’s not just your skin’s structure that gets a makeover but there is also a significant functional change in how your genes that regulate skin aging are outwardly expressed. What does that mean for you? It means your skin can look as good as it did a decade ago!
