We will be featuring our new skincare line, Skin Better, as part of our Open House on November 3rd. Truly I haven't seen our staff this excited about skincare products since I've worked here (that's about 2 and a half years). The skincare line is simple: it has a moisturizer called Face, eye treatment called Eye, a hyaluronic acid called Lines, and AlphaRet, a revolutionary combination of retinoid and lactic acid to help correct skin texture, lines and discoloration. It comes in two strengths, AlphaRet Overnight and AlphaRet Intensive, which has a higher concentration of glycolic acid for increased skin retexturization. The picture above is before using AlphaRet and the after pic is after only four weeks of use. There's a dramatic change in skin clarity and texture. As I mentioned in an earlier blog, we all us this product and feel that we've seen great changes within a short period of time, particularly in skin texture.
This second picture is a before and after for Skin Better's Eye cream. Although I don't have bags under my eyes, I do have the standard crepey skin and of course I need something moisturizing before I put on my Bobbi Brown concealer with superpower coverage. (As an aside, I just had to zoom in on this text as I'm writing because apparently I am going blind). Anyway, we've been primarily a Neocutis eye cream staff, but have started to realize that for some of us it is too emollient, adding to our eye makeup running during the day. I tried the Skin Better eye cream and it feels unlike anything I've ever used under the eye. It's almost like aloe...smooth, slick cooling and doesn't dry sticky or creamy. At the heart of all their products is InterFuse technology which is a delivery system for making sure the ingredients actually effectively penetrate the skin. Their Eye cream will diminish the appearance of crow's feet, puffiness, dehydration, firmness, bags and under-eye darkness.
This is probably my favorite before and after from Skin Better. Personally I haven't used their Lines product but obviously I'm going to have to start. They promote it as as a no-needle skin smoothing formula developed to topically fill in wrinkles. No kidding! This picture looks like if someone had filler put into their glabellar line! Again, Skin Better says it's their InterFuse technology that delivers the hyaluronic acid deeper and faster into the skin to minimize the appearance of deep wrinkles and expression lines. Combined with messenger peptides to renew collagen, and a trio of hyaluronic acids to bind water to the skin, this treatment is the first line of defense against expression lines.
These pictures are equally impressive and show results of their Face cream. This is a cutting edge approach to collagen, contains a unique formula which targets five types of collagen. It helps protect against premature aging of the skin, is full of antioxidants and reinforces skin's density.
