Did Your BBL Get Cancelled? Even Tone Can Help

We sure wish we could be spending time with all of you at Body Tonic! We miss YOU, and the feeling of family as we catch up on life’s events at the front desk or during treatments.

Unfortunately, there is still no definitive word on when the Shelter in Place guidelines will be lifted, and when we will have a re-open date. In the meantime, one thing we will be doing is posting highlights of different skincare products and how they can help you get a tiny bit closer to your cosmetic goals during quarantine.

Today’s product: Skin Better’s Even Tone

Why use it? It targets pigmentation issues. Use this if you want your skin to: Look brighter, have greater skin clarity and tone, or use it in place of that BBL photofacial that was cancelled:(

What is hyperpigmentation? It occurs when the skin produces more melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. It presents as spots or patches of skin that appear darker than surrounding areas.

There are several types of hyperpigmentation:

  • Melasma (hormonal)

  • Brown spots/age spots/freckles (sun damage)

  • Hyperpigmentation that forms after an injury to the skin: cuts, burns, acne, or lupus, psoriasis

Even Tone Correcting Serum is a patented non-hydroquinone, non-retinol formula that provides a visibly dramatic reduction in the appearance of hyperpigmentation. It works by targeting the inflammatory pathways that lead to discoloration, and mitigates not just brown discoloration, but yellow and red as well.

  • Breaks up the appearance of hyperpigmentation

  • Brightens the appearance of skin without the use of hydroquinone

  • Improves the appearance of yellowing or redness that often accompanies the look of hyperpigmentation in certain skin types

  • Cosmetically elegant

I started using this several months ago and although I don’t have a TON of hyperpigmentation, I definitely noticed my skin clarity is brighter and more even. Back in the days of seeing people in person, many clients commented on my skin looking “bright”… and I’ve had no recent skin treatments, so I’ll have to credit it all to Even Tone!
